Doug hiked the Presidential Traverse last Tuesday and Wednesday. He started at Appalachia and summited Madison, Adams, Jefferson, Clay and Washington then spent the night at Lakes of the Clouds hut. It's a good thing there was a summit sign on Washington. The next day he summited Monroe, Franklin, Eisenhower, Pierce, Jackson and Webster. His wife, Christine, picked him up at the Highland Center.
