The "A" hike on Monday September 24 was up Carrigain. John, Pete and Doug went up and down the Signal Ridge Trail. The day started out quite foggy with all of the summits obscured. By noon, though, when they reached the summit, the clouds had lifted to the south, yielding great views. To the north, into the Pemi Wilderness, the clouds stayed low so the summits were not visible. The tower at the top gets you above the trees so there are excellent views.
