A small group of us headed up to the summit of Smarts Mtn, a 52 WAV. The trail was full of AT Thru hikers heading North Bound. The actual trail was in great condition, and the trail maintenance was very impressive. New log crossings, and a lot of rock work led you up to wonderful scenic over looks, open ledges and 360 degree views from the fire tower.
