Some of the earlier forecasts were calling for rain while at other times the forecast was calling for cloudy skies. We decided to go ahead and keep track of the weather conditions in case we needed to turn around. The hike to Wildcat D and Wildcat A turned out to be a decent hike. There was no rain. All of the Presidentials were clear of clouds for most of the time. It was a bit on the cooler side and windy. A few AT through hikers went by.
Here we are at the top of the Wildcat ski area, sheltering from the NW wind. L to R are Sue, Pam, Doug, Dave and Dick.
And now Bernie is between Doug and Dick.
Here is a shot of Mt Washington with Tuckerman Ravine on the left and Huntington Ravine on the right. There's still a bit of snow. I wish we had taken a photo earlier in the day when the summit was clear.
