Three of us braved the weather forecast and hiked to the summit of Jefferson, elevation 5712. We started on Jefferson Notch Rd and ascended on the Caps Ridge Trail, which happens to be one of the NH Terrifying 25. We experienced about an hour of light rain on the way up but the rest of the time was dry. Views were good even though the sky was overcast and cloudy at times.
