Four of us (Pam, Dick, Larry and Doug) started the hike to the Carters and we met up with another OTHH hiker (Sandy P) on the trail! It was a bit warm, muggy and buggy at the bottom but the upper ridges had a nice breeze and no bugs. The skies were clear so there were great views. We all climbed to Mt Hight along the way. Hight is over 4000 feet but not an official 400 footer and has great 360 degree views.
