This week's hike included the Northern most 4000' footer, and a 52 WAV. An early departure from the Lakes Region and up to the Berlin Fish Hatchery area for the 11.6 mile loop hike to include Mt. Cabot, the Bulge, and the Horn. Trails were wet and muddy, but bugs were at bay. We had a couple of wet and muddy boots due to the water crossings and copious amounts of mud... but all in all it was a fantastic hike. Thankfully, returning to our car a few minutes after 4, the gate was a non issue as we actually didn't leave the fish hatchery until 4:20. A great day on the trail indeed.
