Five of us had a great winter hike to the summit of Tecumseh. The weather was favorable, with temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s. There was a slight breeze at the summit and there were a few flurries in the air. We could see the Waterville Valley ski area and the three Tripyramids. The trail was in perfect condition. It was well packed and about a foot wide. There was no ice and all the rocks and roots were buried. It was like walking on a white sidewalk. There were about 20 other hikers on the trail and several skinners. The skinners descended on the ski area trails.
