clear enough for an attempt
Mark and Karen decided on Lafayette Ridge on Tuesday 7/14 and took the Old Bridle Path to Greenleaf Hut to check out the ridge conditions. From the hut the clouds were lifting and we decided to push on,.and were glad that we did
towards Eagle Cliff and Cannon
Heading up the ridge to Layfayette the views back towards Eagle Cliff and Cannon Mountain were excellent

Abit breezey, temps in the 30's..socked in with a blowing cloud..you have got to love hiking in NH in July..It was great
many wildflowers along the way
there were many pockets of wildflowers along the franconia Ridge Trail
