Back up we climbed on the Big Rock Cave Trail to stop at the cave for exploring, lunch and photos. Although the weather was warm, the woods were a little cooler so it was a good choice for a hike on a warm day.

B group, hikes Big Rock Cave
July 12th B hike was to see Big Rock Cave in Wonalancet. Ruth, Jean, Betsy, Shirley and Kathie accompanied by furry friends Andy and Winter met at the trailhead and hiked up the Cabin Trail to Whitin Brook Trail. Whitin Brook Trail brought us down and down to several crossings of the brook and only one wet sock.
